Do You Accept Insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid?2024-09-22T11:44:22-05:00

We do not participate as an in-network provider with any insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid plans.

Why?

As an integrative psychiatrist, I provide a holistic approach to mental health that combines both traditional psychiatric treatments and complementary therapies. Many of these treatments are not typically covered within the current insurance model, which often restricts the scope of care. By opting out of insurance, I’m able to offer a more personalized and comprehensive approach without being bound by insurance limitations. You can still use HSA or FSA accounts to pay for your treatment with us.

This also benefits YOU by offering complete CONFIDENTIALITY. Your personal mental health concerns are strictly between you and your psychiatrist—no third parties will interfere with or dictate your care.

What is Integrative Psychiatric Care?2024-09-22T12:02:12-05:00

Integrative psychiatry blends traditional psychiatric care with evidence-based complementary therapies to promote optimal mental health and well-being. Conventional treatments like medication and psychotherapy are combined with approaches such as nutrition, supplements, exercise, mind-body practices, and even religion/spirituality. This approach focuses on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—not just the symptoms. Depending on your condition, integrative treatments may reduce the need for medication or serve as a first step if you prefer to avoid psychotropic agents. Together, we will determine the best path for your care.

How Do You Handle Calls and Paperwork Requests?2024-09-22T12:03:19-05:00

What is Your Cancellation Policy?2024-09-22T12:04:43-05:00

I ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be billed for the missed appointment. Cancellation or rescheduling is easy through our booking system, and you can also reach out by phone or email for assistance.
